will I be put in the expert class for adding auxilary fuel? have to mount a 12v battery for the GPS. not worried about the no I-80 rule. With a head wind , I wont make minimum legal speed. right now it looks like a Bonzia from Milwaukee to the DS friday night.

Propforward - one way to sell the KLR650 would be ride it in the DS Adv Rally. We could take photos of it and you can prove it's capabilities.
Would like to see more people sign up. Come on everyone, we are promising a pie stop, beautiful vistas, pleasant and not-so-pleasant country roads and trails, and some unique challenges. As a bonus we are throwing in a mix of Shooter's quiet, Blinky's care-free, and Frump's overly-positive personalities for free. You will get to see the Loess Hills in way most people never get to. Plus we promise it will stop raining by then.

Can a last minute rider sign in Fri night or Sat AM ?
I am soaked here and need to get my beans sprayed. If it dries up enough for that I know what I'll be doing.
Maybe even Get there midday Saturday and do phase 2.

I definitely cannot make the DS rally. In order to do the Mn 1K this weekend, I have had to promise to work next saturday. Just the way it goes sometimes.

Yah, they all kinda feed each other. Bit of a busy time at the mo, I am bouncing around working weekends, sometimes I am supposed to, then I don't have to. Then I have to at short notice.Kind of nuts, but it pays for the gasoline to put in 'em.

The rally is officially one week away!!!!!!!!!!! We have 6 confirmed and a few others debating for whatever reasons. We have some real interesting places to have the riders test their on and off road skills (hence forth no intruder
). With that said I am waiting to here from Cruzin on using my KLR.... if he does not any other riders are more than welcome to borrow it for the day.....first come first serve. Cruzin I hope your thinking real hard about it....I'm making my beans. And I'll be my normal quiet? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaI will be home all day Friday so whenever people want to show up we can get you settled in, have a drink, eat some food, and sit by the fire. If you don't plan on bringing your house like LSGiant and don't want to tent it you can throw sleeping bags in the family room in our basement.
Can't wait to see everyone. This is the first time the GLMC has done a true DS rally and I'm super excited. Those not coming will wish you did but don't worry we will take a lot of pics and the riders will surely tell you about their experience.
