In-State SS1000 Minnesota - Lapchik - 07-30-2020 11:36 PM

Could bounce back and forth on the interstate, but that's boring. What do I need to see in Minnesota? 1000-1250 miles is the goal. Start/end in Glenwood.

This seems like the natural places to go see if the in-state SS1k is the goal.

All the waterfalls in the book Alvin gave us during a Harvest Rally. Military museum in Camp Ripley. Veterans Memorial in downtown Long Prairie. Rapidan Dam Store. County Road 11 from Hammond to Millville then continue on Highway 60 to Wabasha overlook. The list is very long.

I had a route like this, but shifted North. What is travel like way up by the Canadian border? I would guess gas/services are few and far between.

And the roads are not cut back as far and they can be pretty rough depending on where you are at. Farmers are starting the wheat and chickpea harvests, so that means a bunch more side road and field road traffic too.
