Sometimes I ask myself - Don Q - 07-17-2013 12:18 PM What would Farmer do ? RE: Sometimes I ask myself - StarWolve - 07-17-2013 01:15 PM I like Reaver's line - What would Mola Ram do? RE: Sometimes I ask myself - Farmer - 07-17-2013 02:27 PM Did you find a get around? RE: Sometimes I ask myself - Lapchik - 07-17-2013 09:14 PM This is what you do RE: Sometimes I ask myself - Reaver - 07-18-2013 06:50 AM At least you looked both ways before crossing the creek. Haha I was watching it on mute and laughed at you because it looked like you were watching for traffic like crossing an intersection. RE: Sometimes I ask myself - Shooter - 07-18-2013 10:02 AM During the 2012 Buffalo Run several riders chose to ignore a bridge closed sign. The bridge was definitely closed AND gone. They rode a goat path down and back up the other side. I believe Beth M. and Cruzin were a couple of them. Jayd was on his FJR/dual sport and Beth on her Beemer. I wish someone would have had a GoPro. Bridges? We don't need no stinkin bridges!!!!! Road signs are a mere suggestion in my world.....lol RE: Sometimes I ask myself - StarWolve - 07-18-2013 01:14 PM Reaver, Nadz, and I did that looking for Corbettsville, NY. Bridge was out, but there was a damn dam for the construction and a walkway through the dry creek-bed. Made it across... RE: Sometimes I ask myself - Don Q - 07-18-2013 04:51 PM You know bridges arent really close to motorcycles. Just brought back memories of a Buffalo Rally in 08. RE: Sometimes I ask myself - Frump - 07-19-2013 01:33 PM I really, really both love and hate bridges, but I'm not going to getting into my "issues" here. I have a "few" bridge and tight places bonuses tucked away yet. This one was one I decided not to use in 2012: This location was supposed to be in the 2012 Buffalo Run as a dual sport bonus because of the terrain to get to it from either direction, but I some how messed up big time and it never got on the sheets. RE: Sometimes I ask myself - StarWolve - 07-19-2013 08:33 PM No getting through this one: (This picture cracks me up too - because I ended up buying that bike from Nadz and rebuilding it, and I can look in the garage and see both of them now!) Other side, after a long detour: All to get Speedsville: Which we also went back to last year for the USA tour: RE: Sometimes I ask myself - Shooter - 07-21-2013 08:22 AM [quote='StarWolve' pid='989' dateline='1374284016'] No getting through this one: (This picture cracks me up too - because I ended up buying that bike from Nadz and rebuilding it, and I can look in the garage and see both of them now!) Come on two 12 Bravos with combat experience and your telling me you couldn't get across? I bet you looked at the heavy equipment around and had a plan before you decided not break any laws and go around....hehehe Personally with my old 12B mentality I was thinking a couple of pounds of C4 would loosen some dirt to fill in the whole or make a badass Dukes of Hazard ramp.....just saying A buell rider in true form could jump it!!!!!! I believe the equation is 88mph to create 1.21 jigawatts of power? I bet you looked at the heavy equipment around and had a plan before you decided not break any laws and go around....hehehe We actually did scout some potential crossing locations, but it wasn't going to happen with those bikes. Given the size of the gap, an AVLB would have been ideal... which I am licensed on. But the demolition would have been more fun!
