Ramp gate trailer for sale - Lapchik - 10-30-2013 01:17 PM I got a better trailer, so it is time for this one to go. 5'x8' mesh trailer with ramp gate. Axle flipped under springs for more ground clearance (easy to put back on top for lower motorcycles or lawnmowers). License plate flipped above light to protect it from road debris (and light rotated to light up the plate at night), rolling jack, 4 pin wiring, guards in front of marker lights to keep the rocks from breaking them, spring pin with chain for coupler, 1 7/8" ball coupler, extra cross rails added under decking. I went to the barn bike with it, and a few local runs, has about 1000 miles on it. It's practically new. Just put new grease and seals in the wheel hubs. Has a load capacity of 1650 lbs. 12" x 4.80 tires and metal fenders. $600 and yes, I know Lowes has them new for $669, but those don't have the $50 jack on the front, or any of the metal I welded into the trailer, or good grease in the hubs, or good seals in the hubs. You will spend well over $150 getting a new Lowe's trailer road worthy. Located in Orange City, IA but will meet/deliver for the right price. Cash or Paypal P.S. Maybe a section of the forum for selling/trading stuff? ADV rider and most of my other bike forums have that. Just a thought. Bring that up with Frump, this is his baby RE: Ramp gate trailer for sale - Lapchik - 11-05-2013 02:23 AM Advertised this on eBay, so if anyone was thinking about it let me know soon RE: Ramp gate trailer for sale - Frump - 11-05-2013 07:08 PM My thinking is that we probably don't need another separate forum section. If its like some of the other forums (i.e. MN LD Rider) it won't get used much because there aren't enough visitors. FS and WTB items can be posted in the main Garage forum with either FS: or WTB: at the start of the subject line. What do you folks think, do we need a separate section for WTB and FS? I know how you feel Lapchik, so I'm looking for input from others. RE: Ramp gate trailer for sale - LSGiant - 11-05-2013 09:15 PM FWIW I think we are fine the way we are RE: Ramp gate trailer for sale - Lapchik - 11-15-2013 04:06 AM I would trade for a motorcycle of any kind as long as the engine is not stuck and it has a title. RE: Ramp gate trailer for sale - Lapchik - 11-17-2013 12:59 AM I've worked out a trade. New thread for that coming soon! |
