Want a GLMC Cap? - Frump - 11-17-2013 04:26 PM New Randy is getting ready to sell their cap business. I had expressed some interested a while back in getting some caps printed up with GLMC.ORG and the Motoman logo (which they have digitized already). I think the hat color was rust and it was an all cloth design. The cost should only be a few bucks + shipping if you want them shipped. I'm not making any money, but wanted get a rough head count of anyone interested so I can get an order in. If you don't know what Motoman logo is, Google it. Its a generic motorcycle logo with less and easier stitches the GLMC logos. I figure Sleddog will going to need at least a couple of them since he wore out his Buffalo Run cap in less then a year. RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - Shooter - 11-17-2013 05:29 PM I would take 2 RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - Lapchik - 11-17-2013 05:39 PM I'll take one RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - StarWolve - 11-18-2013 09:36 AM Sorry to be picky, but any images of the hats, and what type of adjustment? (Velcro, plastic, flex fit, etc.) I don't wear hats often, but somehow have a bunch of them, even after I threw out all my old ones. I only seem to wear them in the garage, and mainly to protect my head. I've found it takes at least 5 years of occasional wear in the garage before a hat truly gets broken in! RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - Frump - 11-18-2013 10:42 AM I'm working on getting more details from Randy R. (Rider #618). I'm trying to get all cloth, hopefully velcro adjustment, and rust colored so it easy to carry on your bike. I'll try to post a proof or something if I can. Worse case is I'll order 2 or 3 dozen extra, post photos of them here, and then haul them to some events (like Bob does with the t-shirts). Caps help promote the group and website, plus some of the folks here just like wearing caps. If I make anything (not very likely), it will go to the club. Just trying to get an idea of how many are interested. RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - UncleLumpy - 11-18-2013 05:31 PM I'd be interested in one (probably would need it shipped)! Lumpy RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - Breeze - 11-18-2013 07:59 PM I would take 2. RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - Frump - 04-29-2014 08:51 AM Still not sure of the size mechanism, I'll have more details in a couple weeks when I pick them up. RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - Lapchik - 04-29-2014 04:30 PM I can pick mine up from you some weekend so you don't have to ship it. I run down to SC almost every Saturday now. Design looks good RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - Breeze - 04-29-2014 09:31 PM Let me know the cost. I will run up and meet you for lunch. Gonna have to be a Sunday like last time. RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - Lapchik - 04-29-2014 10:16 PM Martinsburg maybe? RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - Breeze - 05-01-2014 11:47 PM Martinsburg works for us. RE: Want a GLMC Cap? - Frump - 05-02-2014 09:14 AM Randy is hoping on riding the caps up to the BSR Campout in Ft. Randall May 9-11th ( http://www.glmc.org/GLMC_Garage/showthread.php?tid=110 ). We will be at the campground below the dam near the old Fort. Will be in Niobrara for lunch that Saturday at about noon at the cafe where the highways meet. I'm thinking I can also ship them USPS for about $10 total. Randy thinks the caps have a velcro fitting on the back, but he is going to double check. He is real busy with personal thing right now, so I'll post a definitive answer to that question later. |
