Ulysses is under the knife for HID's and heated grips, and other misc upgrades.

Went to start the Harley yesterday, and the battery was low. Forgot to put it on the tender.

Rode the Firebolt to work after the HD wouldn't start. Started it up after work and the headlight was out. The low beam had died a week ago, but I was planning on riding with just the high for that evening. Rode home in the dark, feeling completely invisible. Not fun, but I have an HID kit ready to install on the parts shelf.

So I went to the monthly ADV rider meetup in my truck. I stopped short of pulling the Virago 250 out of the trailer...

I guess I had better get my CB750 done, so I have something to ride... when the other 3 are acting up.

You can never have too many motorcycles, just a lack of time to ride them, care for them and space to keep them in your garage.

Yeah - I need to make some more space. If I could sell that Virago 250 I'd be happy... and then maybe the XS650 chopper stuff. I need a barn.

I'm running out of the last one . . .still have a parts washer and sand blast cabinet to assemble and shoehorn in here somewhere.

Ugh - Got the starter open up on the primary side... got it to retract and tightened up the bolt. Turned over just fine with the primary off. Put it all back together, added fluid - spun freely again. I think it's the starter clutch. Going to have to pull the whole starter.

Looks like I'm taking the Ulysses for Thanksgiving. All I need to do on that is wire up the heated grips and it's ride-able again. I guess I'll be in the garage tonight...
