The past few years we have met for breakfast at Fat Nats http://www.fatnatseggs.com/ in New Hope. I suppose we could go to the show Friday and leave that afternoon for OK RE: Twin City Bike Show - DrmRdr - 01-04-2014 12:27 AM This time someone else can drive so I can have a big snort. RE: Twin City Bike Show - Lapchik - 01-04-2014 01:28 AM Yeah I'm out. Unless I find a different job by then. This 60 to 80 hour a week shit is getting old RE: Twin City Bike Show - Frump - 01-04-2014 01:04 PM Shooter, I can grab a MC trailer if you want some help hauling the bike. I'll probably take Friday afternoon off for the drive up so I can spend some time with people Friday evening. I take 60 up through Mankato. I'm not going if weather looks particularly nasty, but my nasty weather threshold is fairly high. I'm guessing we will meet at Fat Nat's for breakfast (9 AM?) and at the BBQ place after the show? Is that what is going down everyone? RE: Twin City Bike Show - Shooter - 01-04-2014 04:07 PM that would be great Frump!!!!! Blinky and I will be heading up Saturday morning to meet for breakfast. We will be getting a room somewhere Saturday night and going to dinner also. Then back home Sunday. Does anyone know of a good hotel near the show? RE: Twin City Bike Show - Frump - 01-06-2014 04:12 PM We gave up on getting rooms near the show a few years ago... too expensive, too many hidden fees (e.g. $17 hotel parking and $22 pitchers of beer), and you don't get quality you would expect. Lately we stay out at the DoubleTree in Bloomington, they usually have a good rate advertised on Priceline, the bar is cheaper, free parking, and there is a TGIF Fridays next door. I usually wait until Sunday before to book after checking the extended forecast. The last two years we pay $59/night when we booked a few nights before. Pick up the bike on Sunday on our way back? Can I leave the trailer at Don's Friday evening? RE: Twin City Bike Show - Don Q - 01-06-2014 04:26 PM Sure you can park a trailer here. quistorff01@northfieldwifi.com for details RE: Twin City Bike Show - LSGiant - 01-06-2014 08:37 PM Logistics on this bike pick up is looking a little strange. The KLR is located in St. Paul, northeast of the Doubletree, and farther north of Northfield. I would suggest a big lock and leave the trailer in the parking lot at the hotel. But Chad's paying for all the gas so ..... RE: Twin City Bike Show - Shooter - 01-07-2014 08:24 PM I need to get with Frump and figure out what's the easiest way to pull this off. Maybe I will have to ask Nels and Mary if they want to grab a few cases of Coors Light and do parking lot patrol? One way or another we will make it happen RE: Twin City Bike Show - nels - 01-08-2014 07:37 AM where in St Paul we live in St Paul you would be wecolme to leave the trailer here during the show anyway to help RE: Twin City Bike Show - LSGiant - 01-08-2014 12:28 PM I am sure he can leave the trailer at the bike pick up location also RE: Twin City Bike Show - xander84 - 01-08-2014 12:30 PM Shooter, you could leave the trailer in my driveway (with the bike loaded or unloaded) and grab it on your way out on Sunday. RE: Twin City Bike Show - Frump - 01-12-2014 10:07 PM Double Tree Bloomington was full. Shooter, Dave and I are staying at the Springhill Suites Saint Louis Park Minneapolis West, 5901 Wayzata Boulvevard, Saint Louis Park, MN. If you go to Priceline, its in the offered deals on the second page for $69/night. Breakfast Saturday morning 9 AM at: Fat Nat's Eggs 3540 Winnetka Ave. N. New Hope, MN 55427 Lunch at around 4 or 5 at: Market BBQ 1414 Nicollet Avenue RE: Twin City Bike Show - Scot229 - 01-15-2014 08:16 AM I'm planning on coming down saturday morning.
