Boat for sale, help fund my motorcycle addiction - Lapchik - 04-29-2014 09:18 PM $100 reward for anyone who finds a buyer for my boat. Asking $2800 obo, located in Orange City IA. Owned and maintained since day one brand new by a family of mechanics. It is a 1983 Alumnacraft Classic 16 fishing boat. It seats 7 people. Has a 1983 Evinrude 2 stroke outboard, 35 horsepower. I replaced the ignition coils about 3 years ago, and the motor starts the first time every time. Had it running and took it out in the lake last weekend. Has 2 gas tanks, 2 batteries, 2 pedestal seats with 2 seat posts, (may be 1 more seat, have to find it) rear seat, driver seat and center console with steering wheel, livewell, baitwell, livewell timer for circulation pump, bilge pump, 50 lb thrust trolling motor with quick change plate, rod locker, rod holders, net holder, 3 spare propellers, spare water pump, spare intake grate, storage cover, 3 docking ropes, navigation lights, and I think the anchor and rope are still in it too. Has a fish finder with speed and temp. Also has horn, fire extinguisher, floating pad, paddle. (everything you need to be legal on the water except life jackets) I greased the trailer hubs last fall, the motor lower end grease was changed last fall, trailer tires have less than 250 miles on them, spare tire, rear post style guide on's, rear roller bunks, and up front are 2 self-centering rollers which make loading the boat onto the trailer incredibly simple. Winch strap was replaced about 5 years ago. All the lights on the trailer work, the wiring was redone about 5 years ago also. It never traveled on the road very far as my parent's place was about a block and a half from the loading ramp. Doesn't need anything other than a new owner. I don't use it enough. I do have a video of it running and driving around on the lake from last weekend. RE: Boat for sale, help fund my motorcycle addiction - Lapchik - 05-27-2014 04:49 PM Ok, $2000. That's the non-negotiable price. I'll also throw in a 5 gallon gas can and 2 stroke oil measuring cup. My truck engine is dead and needs to be replaced, so I'm motivated to sell. $2000 is what I need and that is the lowest I will take for it. There it is, please help somebody. |
