I know some of you really miss the Pop Cycle. Here is a chance to show off your skills.

I wish I had the time and money to ride this one....

I'm saving up for GLMC events this year.

It seems my schedule will allow me to go to most events!!!!

Look out LSGiant I want the trophy back. Smile

I fall over enough without the ice rides. . .

RE: I-Cycle Derby - propforward - 12-24-2014 07:22 AM

My main concern is the amount of texting drivers in Minneapolis. I was driving around that area recently, and it was nuts - everyone was on their phone. This is not unusual, unfortunately. So given that they don't look out for us in Summer, and sure as shit don't expect to see us in Winter, I have decided to sit this one out.

RE: I-Cycle Derby - LSGiant - 12-24-2014 11:22 AM

I don't know why but when I have done this event in the past I have had more drivers both notice me and make accommodations for me than in the summer time. I think it is the fact that we are such an oddity. The other thing I noticed is traffic has been light due to it being a Holiday. This is a new spot and new year so I can not look into the future but for me the idiot driver level was not any worse and maybe a little better than the normal summer time ride in the cities.

Well I'm staying out of it. Just last week the idiot driver level was ridiculous, but hopefully all the idiot drivers will be in bed drunk and hungover, so that the roads are clear for the event, and you all have a good time.

Good gosh.....I should go and see if the KLR will start :-)
I think I need to stick a fresh rear tire on the ol'girl and dig out the clipboard.
Gerbings Ho!!!!
Hope to see a few more from the GLMC there.
Happy New Years to all!!!!!!!
