Let's start the discussion now. The show is Feb 6-7, which will be just one week after the Packers will win the Super Bowl. Anyone going? Anyone organizing a hotel? Saturday breakfast at Fat Nat's? Market BBQ after the show on Saturday (with Big Snorts and Li'l Squealers beverages - some folks need to finish their collection of mugs)?

If anyone from my area or on the route is planning to go just for the day on Saturday, Leave early, Come home late type of a trip. I would be interested in a ride, sharing gas cost, or I could drive a car that holds 4 as well. Just don't want to put any money into overnight accommodations. It's been a few years since I attended and would like to go again. MMMMM breakfast and BBQ

I've plumb forgotten how much the crowds suck at the Chicago show, so I'll be hauling a carload down there the weekend after the MN show..
Always seems like spring is right around the corner when leaving the show..

Frump & I were talking about reservations at the Market BBQ. I called & have reserved the "Backroom" It's reserved under GLMC....But, EVERYONE is welcome TS, ADV, etc

I know it's not the best choice for real BBQ, in fact ajayhawkfan would hang his head in disgrace! But, this gathering is for the social aspect & it's location convenient. Too bad the BMW banquet is scheduled the same evening. When I called It surprised me to get the back room! I the 1st to make reservations for the evening.....

It does have lots of space, it is a very good venue in that regard, and not ALL their food is shit. Stick to the simple foods and it will be fine. I had a half chicken or something last year, which was just dandy.

If anyone cares, I booked a room at Minneapolis Marriott West at 9960 Wayzata Boulevard St. Louis Park, MN. They have a deal on hotels.com for $79/night which includes parking. The Spring Hill in St. Louis Park had gone up to $110/night since last year.
Randy I and will take a taxi from hotel to the show if anyone wants to park there and ride to the show with us. Leaves us free to drink Big Snorts at the BBQ Place.
