Hi Everyone
This weekend the Boys laid Spanky to rest. Here is the information as to where he is located if anyone in their travels would like to visit. Old school mappers: drive to Shiocton, WI and then travel north on Hwy 187 6 miles to South Maine Cemetery. For you GPSers his coordinates are 44'31'59.1N 88'33'09.1W. Enjoy the beautiful country road and hear his laughter in the wind.

Thanks for sharing the information, Sue. I recall my first encounter with you and Spanky in the parking lot of the craptacular Park View Motel in Richland Center WI during a Bill R. era Bonzai Rally.
Most vivid though is our experience during Bob's last Buffalo Run, trying to find that goddamn bonus at Potts Dam somewhere near Lebanon, South Dakota. You had to find some words written on a rock, and I failed to grasp that that's exactly what the bonus was - some words somebody had written with a marker on some rock. In a large area full of tall grass. I spent 45 minutes riding around looking for it, then you and Spanky showed up and more ground was covered until we finally gave up. One of you took a Polaroid of me sitting on my hack at the entrance, giving a big middle finger to whomever had come up with that dam (ha!) bonus, though in fairness Bob did award the points anyway. I still have that photo - saw it not long ago and smiled.

Oh the rock at the dam, it's good to have memories! Thanks Sue for letting us know, those are some fine young men you are raising!

I made a trip out to see Spanky's marker today - It is very nice and set under a big oak. HWY 187 was a fun great ride.
