It's official....I've been accepted into the Butt Lite 8 rally!!!!
It will start and end in Denver with a check point out West.
I want to start gathering info from people willing to help me along the way whether it be a phone call to keep me awake on day 4 (T-Bone your #1 on the list
) or a place to stay along the way or if I break down. I'm guessing we will be staying West of the Mississippi but what do I know....Tech tips are always welcome also. I will be adding a fuel cell, aux lights, and a Russel seat to my FJR for sure. I have already added handle bar risers, highway pegs, and lowered my riding pegs.
Lapchik I wish we lived closer so you could help me install all of the goodies.

This reminds me that I haven't booked any hotels yet. That's tip #1, do that.
Perhaps you'd be interested in a rally ready C14? Fuel cell? Check. Aux lights? check. Russel? Check. Handlebar risers? Check. Highway pegs? check. Lowered pegs? Check. Plus so so much more.

But all the cool Kids are riding FJR's....5 out of the top 6 IBR riders were on FJR's..... Hehehe

It's just a gadget for people with short attention spans. Kawasaki figures its riders are smart enough to maintain speed and concentrate on the road ahead at the same time.
