Future GLMC Riders - Lapchik - 04-11-2016 06:52 PM
Even though I only see most of you a few times a year, I feel close to a lot of you. We can pick up conversations that we had left off a few months or even a year ago. We've been on adventures, rallies, and RTE's together all over the Midwest. I have learned a lot from the club and its members, so I wanted to share some special news with everyone.
First, the adoption of my wife's 3-1/2 year old daughter Rowan was finalized in court today. I've been her Dad for 2 years anyway, but now it is legal and official.
Second, Zoe and I are expecting another child sometime in November. This will be my first biological child.
I don't know how many events I will get to this year or next, but I do plan on being at the Buffalo, end of year banquet, [hopefully the camp-out, even if only for the afternoon] and am going to try to lead a GT/RTE run down around Sioux City this summer. Zoe and Rowan are very supportive of my hobbies, and I look forward to seeing some of you this summer [hopefully down here for a ride!]

Congratulations Kory, It is a wonderful thing you are doing. Our son is helping raise a daughter that came with his special other, as well as our Grandson they have together. Takes a big heart to step into that role

Maybe if there is a pedal bike course and tacos involved...
Rowan is gunning for youngest rider to finish the gt. Practice this year, rider number next year. How old was Haley when you two did it shooter?
