2016 Buffalo Run - GSAnderson - 06-13-2016 08:50 AM Sir Rally-master, when may we expect the details of this rally to be posted, Sir? RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Lapchik - 06-13-2016 12:07 PM It'll be on Sioux city ia/sd. Labor day weekend. Other than that I'm not sure we've decided anything concrete. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Cruzin - 06-13-2016 01:04 PM no point in rushing into anything I thought about registering the other day but the registrations still says Black Hills?!?! RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - xander84 - 06-13-2016 02:35 PM I thought I heard a rumor the sign up may be on ridemaster. Paging Frump to the white courtesy phone. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Frump - 06-13-2016 03:19 PM I've been trying to get Ride Master setup. I have a new event page, but have to get Ride Master part done first. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - GSAnderson - 06-13-2016 03:39 PM No worries. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Lapchik - 06-13-2016 06:05 PM If you start sweet talking me now, I may have room for a couple people here. Drinks and food included. Probably. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Lapchik - 07-13-2016 09:57 PM We're doing this just to get the suspense up. There will be a meeting of the minds soon to get more details ready. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Frump - 07-16-2016 01:26 PM http://www.glmc.org/buffalo.php https://rides.jasonjonas.com/regRequest.php?id=437 I'm still working on the hotel details. Someone call me if you have a problem registering. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Shooter - 07-16-2016 03:20 PM believe it or not I'm registered already!!!!!! Maybe I will ride this rally and get a t-shirt???? RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Frump - 07-18-2016 09:12 AM Registration seems to be working like it is supposed to. Thanks Chad, Don and Frank for signing up. We will be allowing the "Group" (Teams) this year. I don't know if its clear or not, but riders still qualify for Novice discount even if they are riding on a team, if this is their first road rally. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Scot229 - 07-18-2016 10:08 PM No speedo or odometer. Is a hardtail with a 75 mile range enough of a handicap to know I won't go over mileage limits? I'd really like to rally this thing and I have labor day weekend off because I worked the 4th. I came in last place on my bagger at my most recent Bonzai. How good could I really do? RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Lapchik - 07-18-2016 10:21 PM (07-18-2016 10:08 PM)Scot229 Wrote: No speedo or odometer. Don Q might have a spare or two that could be rigged up. Put some good ol Honda parts on that thing! Or does the front wheel not even have the hook up for that? Is it just a plain spool? RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Scot229 - 07-18-2016 10:25 PM no speedo drive on the wheel and wiring a harley speedo to the transmission sensor hole would double the number of wires currently on the bike. I don't care if my score is unofficial or even dnf I just wanna come hang out and get the route sheet and have fun. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Lapchik - 07-18-2016 10:38 PM Well yeah, you can run it for sure. The scoring with no odo reading would probably make it a DNF but we would like to have you down here for the rally! RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Frump - 07-19-2016 08:41 AM Scott, we can probably work something out one way or another. The rules say you have to have a functioning odometer. Can you hook up a bicycle speedometer/odometer? One that can't be reset would be best. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - sks700 - 07-19-2016 06:28 PM What about just using a gps? That should give you a trip distance. RE: 2016 Buffalo Run - Lapchik - 07-19-2016 07:33 PM That can be reset. Less miles = more efficient. Too easy to cheat. |
