I am interested in doing the PopCycle but I am just wondering if it is worth me driving 10 hours round trip for it? I see it starts at 11:00, how long does it go for?

I think it's worth the drive and have done it a few times. It's 6 hours one way for me but I'm not right mentally either. To me it's more of a social event with some riding along the way. This group of people always make a fun time!!!
I can't make this event but planning on the Bonzai Rally and the MN1000 this summer up North.

I live 60 miles south of the cities. I drove out to Watertown multiple times to do this event there. Almost all the items I attend are at least 3 hours round trip and most are 6 plus. If you leave with the mindset that this is worth your time you will have a good time. This is really your call not something someone can decide for you.
Nothing ventured nothing gained.
Hell most people in this club will travel 8 hours for a cup of coffee. The Pop Cycle is like winning the lottery.

It's 4.5 hours for me each way. It's a good challenge and a great way to break the winter blues. I go to it whenever the family schedule allows for ride time

About how long is the Popcycle? My plan right now is to leave home (trailering KLR) and head to LaCrosse Friday night. Crash there for the night, head to Dennison in the morning, ride, then drive the 5 hours home.

Ok sounds good. Basically I want to make sure the entire event wasn't just an hour and on the flipside I wanted to make sure it wasn't 12 hours just because of the drive I get to make afterwards.

Everyone usually arrives registers and does a little socializing. We are usually out riding for an hour to an hour and a half. Depending on the weather that is either to long or two short. We then have a little food and warm up then go out for the second leg usually about the same time frame. After the last rider comes in the scores are tabulated and awards given. Some will hang around for awhile and socialize others will hit the road.
