My First Gear Kilimanjaro has finally given up and is in need of replacement. What I am looking for:
1] Similar style to the Kilimanjaro, or the newer version the Kathmandu [adv style, slightly long and roomy]
2] Waterproof
3] 3 season [liner in spring/fall, remove liner and open vents in summer]
4] $500 or less
So...what do you suggest?

If you can find a closeout last years model Klim Lattitude in your size I think you would be very happy. I've had two Klim Lattitude Gore-Tex jackets (hit a deer and killed the first one) and they have been my favorite jackets. I think your on the right path if your looking for a Gore-Tex jacket with good ventilation that allows you to add your own mid layer. No more side of the road rain suit dance.
