Update - Save the Date - Dual Sport Rally June 28th
Hello all,

First of all, I finally made it to one of the club's monthly meetings last night, virtually anyways. I used my Android phone and they had a Google+ Hangout setup for the meeting. It worked great, I was able to see and hear everyone and vice-versa. If anyone wants to sit in on a meeting get a hold of Jeff or Bob, you will need a phone, device or PC which supports G+ Hangouts with a camera.

The club officers and Alvin are working on the details for the Club's Spring Kick Off meeting. They will make a formal announcement with details very soon, but it's probably going to be on Hutchinson, MN on March 8th, so please set that date aside. They are going to ask the Rally Masters to do presentations and someone is going to talk about the off road area and club business. There are other activities in the rumor mill, but you going to have to wait for those details.

All the rally's have Paypal buttons on their event pages now. If you use Paypal, you still have to send your entry from to the Rally Master, just let him/her know that you paid with Paypal. The treasurer will be sending a monthly report to the RM's letting them know who has paid for what. You also still have the option of including a check with you entry form. The address the entry form goes to is on each entry form and the event's webpage.

Nels is working on the Bonzai Rally ( http://www.glmc.org/bonzai.php ). The location will be the same as last year - the Hudson House in Hudson, WI. It was a great location last year.

If you haven't checked out the Buffalo Run event page ( http://www.glmc.org/buffalo.php ) yet, there are updated details there. The rally is being run from the Black Hills this year by Doug Shonley and Ken Schleman. Doug has a hotel reserved with some very favorable rates. A few folks are talking about spending a few days out there before the Rally.

Jean (Blinky), Chad (Shooter) and I will be setting up a Dual Sport Adventure Rally on June 28th. We are planning on 2 classes right now, 650 and larger and less then 650. All bikes must be street legal. We haven't hammered out all the details yet (work in progress), but there will be camping both Friday and Saturday evenings (Chad says you can even come and camp early if you want). The location will be at Blinky and Shooter's new home near Underwood, IA in the Loess Hills. Plan on 7 to 8 hours of riding with a lunch break in the middle.

Lastly, Lunatic is hosting his Ground Hog Road Enduro at 11AM from Dempseys in Watertown this weekend. It's not a GLMC event, but if your getting cabin fever get a hold of Lee.
