Looks like you better have a loading ramp and truck ready. Forecast (for IA anyway...) is sub 20 degree temps all this week and not much better next week.

RE: Spring Kick off meeting & Bike Rodeo
Looks like we might make into the 30's up here by the end of next week. But I will still load the bike up in the truck and drive there.
Can't believe how much I am looking forward to 30+ degree temps.

Please note change of first post. Due to much snow the bike rodeo is cancelled. There are lots of entertainment options available in Hutchinson and surrounding areas. The group that attends the meeting can decide what we want to do.

Will the bike rodeo happen later in the year possibly? I seem to remember hearing it count towards ROTY points.

It will not be rescheduled so it will not count toward ROTY points.

We already have more events then we have had in the past few years and all of them will count toward ROTY by the way Kory I have them all on my calendar.

See you on Saturday

We have the opportunity to watch the movie "Why we ride" after the meeting if folks would be interested in that?

If anyone sees this before or during the meeting I would like to ask, If any unplugged events will be offered this year or anytime in the future. Or even a separate class for Ludites

I love maps.

Hi Farmer sorry did not see this until I got home. I don't think there are any exclusive unplugged events. As far as what the Rally Masters throw in it will be up to them.

We had a nice crowd yesterday I think right around 20. Lots of fun events planned.

Thanks to everyone for volunteering to run these events. As far as I know this is the only club in the country running this many events for this variety of motorcycles.

I didn’t announce this at the banquet because I was thinking I was going to spring it on everyone at the rally. But with the question of an unplugged rally I got to thinking I should do it now. The Harvest Rally is stepping back a few years. The bonus locations for the Harvest Rally WILL NOT have GPS coordinates attached to them. You will have to follow the printed directions to the bonus locations. You will still be able to use your GPS.

That sure will bring reading comprehension back to importance.

For whatever its worth, reading comprehension still burns me. From the Buffalo Run I can tell it still does to lots of other riders too - even after getting the GPS coordinates. Ask the guys didn't get their bikes or t-shirt/cap in the photos.

I tend to ride a few less circles though, but maybe that's just a personal issue.

I have a GPS but I really like it better without the coordinates. As long as we are lobbying I liked it much better when all Rally information is handed out the morning of the rally.
