Marne IA - Baxter Open House, Auction and Bike Show - Aug 17-19

I'll be camping at the City Park in Marne, IA (pop 119) on August 17th to 19th for the Baxter Open House, Bike Show, and Auction. Usually a hoot, camp anywhere you want in town except some private properties. No showers at the park, but real bathrooms and a water hydrant in the park. I don't know if we will have homebrew this year. Entertainment includes cigars, bad jokes and a showing of "The Big Lebowski" projected onto the big screen (6'x6') under the stars. Movie will be paused for the town's fireworks show. No camping fees and riders can live off the fat of the land with Baxter's snacks and hotdogs, Boy Scout breakfast, Marne beans, and the Marne Bar food.

Bar-fly types can camp literally next to the bar if you want.
