Ride Ideas
It has been a couple of years since I have done a big ride. I think I am more than over due. Let's see if we can find something to send to the Iron Butt and get our names in history. I like to do something unique.

For those of you old enough to remember Gomer Pyle.

How about Surprise, Surprise, Surprise.

Here is one 1348 mile version.

RE: Ride Ideas
Since the Moonshine Lunch Run is a regular run for me, I'm in.
I like the two burgers idea.
Vanessa and I were in Surprise last year during the USA tour. There isn't much there. The only business was a bar and it had a for sale sign. There was a small sign stating most of the town was destroyed Sept.15, 2006
If this is something everyone wants to do. I would be more than happy to do any scouting of Surprise, Nebraska that needed to be done to meet any requirement.

RE: Ride Ideas
Only sign with Surprise on it in Nebraska is on the top of a tornado siren pole. When I was there for the GT anyway that's all there was.

OK, Building on everyone's original thoughts: Surprise, Surprise, Surprise -> http://goo.gl/maps/YmK3y ... Just Saying.

Oh, and if that looks too easy, we could do it Shooter style and throw in a couple dozen GT stops on the way.

Looks like a great SS2000 ride!!!! I could get 50 GT's or so in the time allowed for a cert?..... I think...depending on the rules next year.

FYI this was the only sign I could find in Surprise, NE last year. No time stamp available in town. Sad

RE: Ride Ideas
I love how this seems to have gotten some traction. The Moonshine idea is great but I am going to be in Moab. I had Arizona in originally but was hoping to do something that would only be a long weekend. If we can get settle on a date and a ride I can cross post and maybe get The IBR on board. If we are set on Moonshine that's cool I can help some one set it up but I won't be there for the ride.

RE: Ride Ideas
I'm interested to see what you can come up with LSGiant. Maybe T-Bone does needs to take a scouting trip to Surprise, AZ and Breeze to Surprise, NE?

Could we have a over-night mid-way stop and have dinner somewhere? Any great burger or steak places in W. NE or KS, there is a famous steak place in York, NE, but its not quite halfway.

I'm not crazy about pounding out 2,000 miles of interstate (esp I-80 and I-70), could we route at least part of it down some 2-ways?
