IBR Checkpoint- GT

I was traveling the Mississippi River Road on my way to the IBR checkpoint in Tennessee tomorrow. I must say what a lack of GT towns on the river road

The ride was good ended up with 21 GT towns. I didn't go after anything that was more than a 1/2 mile out of the way. 2600 miles in 4 days with maybe 100 miles in the rain...not bad.

Brant looked really good at the checkpoint for being on day 7 of the rally...Daryl looked like he need a nap, he was not having a fun time.

The river road I stayed on the west side of the river most of the way, so far I have ridden it from the start in Itasca to St. Louis. The last 1/2 looks like allot of twisty roads..maybe next summer

I almost forgot...an FJR was in 1st place and there was at least one other FJR in the top 10...Brant in 7th

I did also talk to a Connie owner, that I have beat in the past, he wasn't doing so good...he hit something but wasn't sure what it was and had some issues with his bike...I belive it was written about in the IBR reports.

I'm hoping to hear tonight that Brant or Eric Jewels wins!

I rode into the checkpoint with Eric the last 40 miles...I told him he was due this was like his 8th time running the IBR.
