I am going to be there all day on Saturday. Are we going to gather for Ribs or some kind of food on Saturday, like last year?

I reserved the upstairs room at McKenzies starting at 5:00.

This is the same place we went last year.

I thought you lived in the Twin Cities?

It seems like almost too early, but I'll try to make it this year.

Anyone that is looking at getting a good GoPro...... Simply Street Bikes in Eden Prairie have two Hero 4 Black on sale at 50% off. Nomally $499.99 With Tax comes to $268.80... That is the best deal around!
I know this is the link for the Motorcycle show, but I figure we may have a few out of town guests that may be interested.

I'm still on the fence and might need some convincing. I think there is an ugly sweater party somewhere here that weekend too.

I'll be there. That should be enough convincing.

Is, I am leaving for Texas the first of the year and it may be the last time you see me in Minnesota a good enough reason Smile

I will be attending the motorcycle show this year and hope to see everybody at McKenzies. I'm bringing the wife this year so getting to McKenzies will hinge on what we (she) jointly decide to do.

RE: 2017 Motorcycle Show
I guess I am now out. We had a death in the family when a close cousin lost her battle with ALS this week. I may go for a cannon ball run out and back on Friday to get my IMS fix.

I heard a rumor about Fat Nats for breakfast. What time? I don't plan to go to the show, but breakfast sounds good.

Well the show was a little smaller than normal. I was disappointed that there was no representation from Yamaha, KTM, Triumph, or Ducati. I'm not sure if the Superbowl causing the date change from February to December hurt the show or not but it was definitely smaller than I remember it.

The stunt show with one ramp provided some pretty impressive aerial acrobatics. I don't know how anyone learns to be that talented without killing or crippling themselves.

I was able to pick up some expendables I needed from NoMar tire changers, spoke with the MN Motorcycle Safety Center about Advanced rider course and Expert Rider courses, picked up a pair of race gloves for better protection while attending Zalusky Advanced riding school and track days, and I got out of the house for the day.

Over all it was an Ok show but I was really hoping to lust over a newer Ducati to replace my older Superbike and Hypermotard, and ogle a KTM 500 EXC to replace my XR650L and CRF230.
