Website Spamming
We had 40 some new user signups already just today, which I have promptly deleted. Most of the IP numbers I checked were not from the Americas. If you were inadvertently removed, please email me.
The board's signup quiz questions have been changed to make them more challenging for ESL readers. Anyone who has ever spent 15 minutes reading about motorcycles should know the answers. Seems like we go for months with not one spammer signup, then someone somewhere cracks the enigma code for the random stupid quiz question and they come a flooding in, mostly from Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, and other places in Asia and Eastern Europe which I can't spell. Interesting, but annoying. |

RE: Website Spamming
Frump,
Why not just block all those IPs? Or only allow North American IPs? Just a thought, but I don't know the execution :-) |

RE: Website Spamming
It's not that easy (or cheap). I have looked doing that before.
