I am looking at a gravel route on my dr650. Just put new knobbies on it, so don't want to burn them up on paved foads Tongue
Looking like some really interesting gravel East of Decorah.

I got my Wing back Thursday. Have a 5 hour curvy road trip planned for the ride down. Should be in rally form.
Excited to see everyone!

RE: 2019 Bonzai Rally
Thank you Don for putting on another great Rally. We all know who works with you on this, your bestie, Dorine. Thank you. I love going to these rallies and riding the great roads that our states have to offer us! The weather was perfect! (can't say that for my ride home)
Thank you volunteers! It is a lot of team work to get it done!

RE: 2019 Bonzai Rally
Final results have been sent to Frump and Alex and should be posted soon.

I was really happy I drove the car down yesterday when I left, I was hydro planing enough with that I wouldn't have wanted to be on a bike.

I got so lucky, I left at 5am with a sprinkle and was able to stay ahead of the rain all the way home, never suited up the rain gear. Glad I live east.

If it's not reproducible, it didn't happen.

Yeah, somebody woke me up and got me moving when their bike rolled out of Postville. I got up a bit later, couldn't sleep anymore because I went to bed too early (missed your DreamRider). I pulled out about 6:30.

Didn't have many troubles getting home (West). It was actually was a nice ride most of the way, with a few extra bits of excitement near Waterloo (TG for overpasses) and a short bout of ~40 mph cross winds for about 20 miles near Early, Iowa. I got home dry with my Frog Togs on. I had a nice tail wind to start and finish, with winds from the other three directions from time to time. Got home about 11:30.

Thanks for putting on a nice rally Don and Mrs. Q. Thank you volunteers. It was a great day for a ride.

Not all the pictures turned out, but heres what did.
Rodney road down from Prescott, WI the morning of the Rally. He needed all the rest he could get.

The water was high this year but the riders were still able to get the bonus on the bench.

Expect to see them in a future rally. Thanks again to all the riders, volunteers, and Doreen for helping make this rally possible.
