I got the Mt Ida so I can't get your Mt Ida, according to the rules you can only have 1 of each.

I checked out what you said about 42.5897316,-89.5059515, yup only 1 of them. We'll see if I get that far

I've got Caledonia (IL version) and will be very close to the one in Minnesota next weekend.. I know I can only use them once, but that doesn't mean I have to use the first one if I find something better to use in the second one..

I'd been wondering if one could use both Mont Ida and Mount Ida. There's one Mont Ida in Kansas, not far from this location:



I skipped Mont Ida KS even though I knew there was a cemetery with a sign, given the miles of gravel out there and because I had so many other opportunities ahead of me (this was only day two). Now I regret it, of course.

It's fun to obtain the "harder to acquire" option where there are multiple locations, like Helena for example. Lots of those, like the one in southern Wisconsin, not that far from Juda, that appears to be a bonus in some upcoming rally.

I bagged this one instead:



The weather was actually fairly pleasant that day and probably won't be at that spot (read stinkin' hot) for the remainder of the GT.

Those are 2 different towns...with the distinguisher being Mont and Mount.

That would be the same as West XXXXA and XXXXXA, 2 different towns. Now you have to go back for the one you left behind...dont you just hate that.

Now that is my ruling on it which by no means is official...we need a rally master to back me up
