Bonzai Cancelled what to do

So as the title says anybody have any cool ideas ?

I have been thinking of going to Arcadia and actually watching the parade and looking at the memorials. Been there multiple times because of the Bonzai but always had to dash without spending any time there.

Where are the good off road parks in central MN? No motocross or anything crazy, just fun trails. I'd like to take my soft sprung underpowered little red piggy (CRF250L) somewhere new this year. Seems most people round here have a dual sport bike of some sort

I was thinking I might have to take the 3 day weekend to do some GT's, but at this time have not figured out where to go. Have to scout some historic areas. Could cross over all of WI and into the Upper MI, but with three days, maybe I could get into IL, before I turn around. Anyone want to join me?
Dual Sporting on a Holiday weekend might be a little busy??

That's more motocross than trails. Spider Lake is a good spot for you Kory ...once it dries up. The OHV in Gilbert is another good one and your bike is already red so it won't matter. General Andrews is another easy one, sandy but a lot of trails.

Guys, there are lot's of ride ideas at our site DriftlessRoadAdventures.com.

Unfortunately we are going to be out of town so no riding for us.

If anyone rides some of our routes, we would love for you to send us a picture or two. We are putting up rider pics on our site now.

Sorry that we don't have all of the routes done yet, we have another one that is almost ready in the Prescott area. But it's not quite done.

Anyway, be safe wherever you go. See you at next year's Bonzai.

I have to go to a graduation party now on Sunday afternoon which pretty much keeps me from going somewhere fun or camping. Then have a wedding next weekend so Hiawatha Rally is out. I really hope this isn't a new trend. People use to know I am always busy these three weekends so they either didn't have parties or simply didn't invite me to them. Hope this is not some kind of new trend.

i hear you about tuxedo in the saddle bag. unfortunately, the wedding is in Las Vegas, so i wont even be near my bike.

Also, Update for you Minnesota people, we just posted a new route in the Prescott/River Falls/Stillwater area, so check it out when you get a chance.

Lastly, I am hosting a small group ride next weekend, June 2nd. We will be riding the Wisconsin Triangle route. it will be a small group, probably 5 riders or less, so if anyone wants to tag along, send me an email or chat message and i will send you the details.
