Best Motorcycle/Car Movies
Since I'm not riding that much right now . . .time for some movies. These are a few of my favorites, what are yours?

Two Lane Blacktop

Obviously I'm biased on this one. . . .Gumball Rally

Gets a little acid-trippy towards the end, but still great. Easy Rider

Why drive across the country and then turn around and drive right back? Because we can. Because it feels right. Vanishing Point

I omitted Long Way Round and Long Way Down as it was less of a motorcycle trip, and more of drawn out series of videos of camera trucks and support vehicles following two actors riding the wrong bikes across the world. With as much support as they had, they really did not need big BMW's. It just made the tough terrain nearly impassable for them.

RE: Best Motorcycle/Car Movies
Faster, Dust to Glory +1

The Road Warrior ++++

American Graffiti - if you are of an age which you have somehow not seen this movie, it is the mandatory car flick

Speedway - a young, skinny Elvis, and a hot Nancy Sinatra (you may hear 'But the driver is O .... K .... , more than a few times) - on a scale of 1-10, awesome:

Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann - Co written and scored by Michael Nesmith (yes, that Michael Nesmith (of Monkees fame)) so bizzare it must be seen to be believed. I have sprung this on a few friends over a pot of coffee waiting to get out for a ride. The directors comments on dvd are priceless. On a scale of 1 to 10 ... too crazy to score. Bad enough to be worth looking for. Surprised it has escaped some sort of cult following:
