What do you ride? Poll and pics
Show off your ride, and vote on the poll. Multiple choices are ok, as a lot of members have more than one or two or five bikes. Current motorcycles only for the poll, please, but I would like to see past motorcycles pictured too!
2012 Kawasaki Concours 1400 Just bought my first motorcycle back! 1982 Yamaha Seca 650 2013 Honda CRF250L 1971 Honda 175 Motosport, much more put together than this right now. This was day 1 of the project. Quite a few others, but this is the current stable. Well, almost . . . Farmer has one that I am going to pick up in the spring, too. http://www.youtube.com/korysrides |

RE: What do you ride? Poll and pics
I just signed up with the group. Mostly because I wanted to annoy paper and LSGiant.
This seemed as good a place as any to cause some irritation. :wave Here is a picture of my bike, which is very nice. It's much nicer than papers scooter. Hello everyone! Some of my other bikes don't run as well as that one. Case in point: I don't worry unduly about that. It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. |

That was March 1st 2013.
I wanted to prove myself. I was successful. I proved that I'm an idiot. It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. |

RE: What do you ride? Poll and pics
It's one of those things you have to do yourself..
Welcome to the club. I did something similar when I was in my early 20's, wearing gear that was made for a nice, fall day, and instead riding 20 miles in 20 degree weather. Come to think of it, I did it again about 7 years ago during the MN1000 by leaving my heated vest home.. It was the first time I shook uncontrollably while seated in hot water. |

RE: What do you ride? Poll and pics
I got hypothermia on that DD run.
But a PBLT sammich and a million cups of coffee later and I was ready to do it again. Which I did, because I had to go home, after all. 340 miles in 25 degree weather, and I learned that electrics do, in fact, have a temperature / time limit. Thank you for the welcome. I keep hearing about GLMC, and it was starting to bug me that you might be having fun that I wasn't involved in. It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. |

RE: What do you ride? Poll and pics
So far so good, anyway. I do like the Watchmen, as it happens. The reason for the avatar was because someone was giving me crap on a forum I moderate (who moderates the moderators), so I changed my sig line to "who watches the watchmen" and added the avatar, and the avatar stuck. The user in question got miffed about it. Fun Dayz on the intertoobz. It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. |

RE: What do you ride? Poll and pics
Welcome to the club propforward. I'm guessing your photo contest competition may have just gone up a notch?
I'll try to post some bike photos later. Sure wish I had some photos of my old bikes from the 70's and 80's. Never thought to take them back then. |

RE: What do you ride? Poll and pics
Right. More bikes. Because that's what we like.
ZX1100 Tiger 1 (before hitting a deer with it) KLX400 1979 CB750K - uh - needs some work. Nearly done though, honest. KLR650 - Lobster Bisque GS1000G GS850G KZ1300 (currently getting a top end rebuild) - needs vetterectomy Triumph Bonneville Second Tiger (I already showed this - but I like it) Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand finally 1960 Matchless G12. We wonder if this will ever get rebuilt. We just don't know. It's in bits right now, this is how it looked when I bought it. American Spirit Eagle Sidecar. Needs to be attached to a Suzuki GS. There you have it. |

RE: What do you ride? Poll and pics
Well, my stable is not what y'all have but I do have a couple things in my stable.
2002 Honda Silverwing "Seabiscuit" [/URL] And here is my 2006 Suzuki M50. Sorry there are no tales of 1000 mile rides in the dark of night wearing nothing but shorts and a t-shirt. But the first 300 mile ride I did on that Suzuki......I felt so tortured that I would have confessed to killing the pope just to get relief! |

RE: What do you ride? Poll and pics
2010 Kawasaki Versys, traded it in on the Concours. Still at Jackson (MN) Cycle if anyone wants to buy it.
No pictures of it, but video of my 1978 CB750K (ton up!). Lost interest in it and sold it. 1980 XS400 Special 2. Quick flip for profit. Hard to see, but this is a 1983 Honda Magna V45. Mike H, I know why you have had so many of these. They are torque monsters. I learned to drive on one, and could wheelie through 3rd gear. This one needed a lot of engine work, and I traded it and a shotgun for the bike below this one. This is a 1972 CB500K, and I had to sell it to get myself through a rough spot with my job. A friend of Mike H's has it right now. http://www.youtube.com/korysrides |
