Twin Cities International Motorcycle Show (IMS) 2017
Twin Cities International Motorcycle Show (IMS) Feb 3-5 - http://motorcycleshows.com/minneapolis

Wondering what the IMS plan is? I plan on arriving Friday evening and staying through Saturday if the weather is reasonable. Original Randy says he is going (so I have a ride). I may even make it to the convention center this year. The big thing though is getting to see all of you folks.

So are we doing Fat Nat's Eggs Saturday morning? What time?

I think the Market Barbecue is kind of over after the last decade or so for Saturday evening. It's expensive and the BBQ is ... well not that good. Does someone have a better idea of where we could meet? Somewhere with plenty of parking, good food, and decent beverages? Something downtown or in one of the near by burbs?

Now that you speak of it me and Brant were just talking about this and we were thinking Mexican this year instead. At the place right next door to market bbq. Not a clue if it's any good but something different and we can talk about Jack's ride.

Salsa a La Salsa is the Mexican joint next to Market BBQ. No idea if it's any good, we were just looking at google maps!

Can tell you have not been to the cities much. The COG group gave up on Market BBQ a couple years ago. We end up going about a 15 minute walk away for lunch but I know that place will be packed on a Saturday night. Most anywhere that is any good will be packed on a Saturday evening. If someone knows of a place we could reserve a room that would be cool. I went to an event at Cowboy Jacks a little while back that was in a separate room do we want to travel as far out as Bloomington ?

You guys have fun, I'll be at the ice races in Sioux city that weekend with Rowan. Maybe Ryker will be big enough to go to the show up there next year

Not sure if we can reserve a room at the Mexican place but as far as parking you don't have to move your cars from your MC show parking.

Personally it doesn't matter to me if we go out of downtown, it will be cheaper. I don't have a $40 cab ride to get back to my hotel.

Wasn't there a bowling alley or something which Rich/Penny took a bunch of folks too a few years ago? Is Rich around? I like crashing at the SpringHills Suites over in St. Louis Park... if I can get a good deal there.

OK Folks here is the skinny.

The group will be meeting Saturday Feb 4th at 8:30 for breakfast at Fat Nats, 3450 Winnetka Ave, New Hope
http://www.fatnatseggs.com/

For supper I have reserved the party room at McKenzie's Pub,918 Hennepin Ave, Mpls. it is a 15 minute walk from the convention center. We will have our own upstairs space that has a capacity of 40 people so please feel free to invite your friends but I would not post it on ADV or other boards. I have been there a couple of times and personally know the owner. The food has always been good and the beverage selection is phenomenal. Festivities will start at 5:00 PM

I guess we better add this as an official event next year

Nice work, and I found some great room rates nearby. I have always drove out to the suburbs to spend the night before or after the show. Last year I decided to just get a room down town and found it to be great. I'm making plans to be there but haven't worked out the logistics yet.

If anyone wants to stay downtown I recommend The Marquette which is a Hilton brand hotel in the IDS tower. I've stayed there for as little as $65. Google is telling me it is $101 right now though. Still not horrible. They want $22 a night to park in their ramp also.

Well it looks like things are falling together so I should be able to meet up with some of you folks Saturday. I will be on the look out for you guys in the food court at two although I'm not sure who I am looking for. I'm pretty dang sure I've met Dajuice and Cruzin once or twice in LaCrosse so I might recognize them. I'm staying at the Hampton just a block North of Mackenzie's pub so I think I will stop in there also. My wife isn't coming along so I'm excited like a little kid at Christmas since I won't have rush through the show.

It was great seeing everyone again. Good turnout for breakfast at Fat Nat's. I think McKenzie's Pub should be our new go to place! Jeff, you hit it out of the park with this pick!
