Last night at Divide Hill Roadhouse (bar & grill), near Castana, IA. The cook is off this Saturday, but the owner will have a pot of taverns (loose meat sandwhiches for those of you from not around here) and other stuff ready. It's 233 miles from Le Sueur.

If you don't want to go there, I have another place in mind which isn't "too" far from there, the Dairy Sweet in Dunlap, IA, or we could ride down to the Twisted Tail Steakhouse and Saloon in Beebee Town and then go bug that guy with the red FJR.

What day? Next photo - get photo of your bike on a scenic overlook. I want to see an interesting landscape a long ways in the background (e.g. not a sign, but the actual overlook).

Noon Saturday. The cook is on vacation, so we are eating tavern sandwiches there. The waitress said the taverns there are really good, but I doubt she has had the gold standard tavern from Mile's or Tastee In-And-Out's (https://roadfood.com/tours/iowa-loosemeats/).

Everyone is welcome to join us, I'll buy if not too many. If it looks like they forgot to make taverns, meet us at the Dairy Sweet in Dunlap, IA for one of Iowa's best pork tenderloins.

I'm not impressed with Miles taverns. Maybe I didn't have the right amount of schooners in me for it though.

I've never drank a schooner of beer at Miles! But, they do have some tasty taverns. Mmm mm good
