Smile Moving to Minnesota
My wife and I are trying to move to Minnesota, specifically the Alexandria area. We aren't completely set on that, but that's where we'd like to end up. Just wondering if anyone knows of any industrial maintenance type jobs in that area right now. Beth is helping us find a house right now but if anyone knows of a good one let us know.

RE: Moving to Minnesota
You may want to reach out to the technical school also and see if they know of anything.
A quick search on Indeed brings up many opportunities.
Good Luck and Welcome to the Land of Taxes :-)

Kory,
Congrats!!!!!! I am sure that any company that you work for will benefit from your expertise!
On a side note, I can say, the ER staff at Paynesville is pretty good :-)
Not that I want to see them again lol! It will be awesome to be able to see you more.

RE: Moving to Minnesota
I'm a little sorry to see you leaving Kory. Feel kind of bad I didn't visit or hang out with you more here, but at least now your a destination. Maybe you can help Alex with the planning of next year's Buffalo Run, hehe. You can pay for those extra taxes and heating bills with what you save on insurance and air conditioning.

RE: Moving to Minnesota
Taxes can't be much worse than now. Working in NE and living in IA I get hit twice for state taxes.

RE: Moving to Minnesota
If anyone knows of temporary housing around Belgrade Glenwood or Alexandria please let me know. We would only need it the month of November, and a couple days of December. I start October 26 at bayer built woodworks in Belgrade.

RE: Moving to Minnesota
Yep. She is selling us the house. The way it looks we’ll get to move right into that house and won’t need something temporary after all. My last work day in Iowa is the 20th, and right after the banquet we get the house.
