Any tips for a first-timer?

Bring a stopwatch, have a way to easily mount and read a sheet of paper on your bike. Most use a clipboard on a ram mount. Calculator if you suck at math. Pens don't work well in the cold.

A few studs in the tires may be a good thing also.

Riders are primary. That's why we put on the event.Any help is welcome. The Spring Meeting is suppose to follow the event if your interested in events coming up.

Well it looks like I won't be riding with you guys today after all. I made it to Minneapolis last night but now I'm stuck and waiting for a tow truck. My driver's side rear wheel on my front-wheel drive van locked up. It's probably the parking brake that's stuck but I can't for the life of me get this wheel to spin. If I get it fixed I might still make it down to Dennison but I'm thinking that's a long shot

It was nice to meet Andrew. We had 4 riders sign up. With only 4 volunteers, we did a little creative leap frogging on check points. Not all the route had been plowed yet causing slow going and multiple wipe outs. The plaques were well earned. These are some hard core riders. Alvin Bertram placed first with 37 points. Chris Ertl placed 2nd with 83 points. Rob Troy placed 3rd with 134 points. Michaela Buskohl almost made it to the first check point before making a wrong turn. Thank you riders and volunteers for helping to make it happen.
