Concours Valves

I've done mine 3 times in 50,000 miles. The second time, about half of them had gotten tighter than spec, so I checked them again last winter because I was afraid the valves were wearing a lot. It turned out that they didn't change that time. So, mine have been a bit unstable.
As far as the job goes, it pretty much sucks because there is so little room between the frame and the top of the motor, and it's full of electronics. Our flat rate manual says it will take 4.4 hours ($330). If they don't need adjustment, it would be about $75 less. Kawasaki recommends doing the first check at 15,000 miles, for whatever that's worth.
