It's a 4.0, but the 94 and the 2000 are not direct swap. Ford remanufactured long block comes with a ton of new parts, just need upper intake, exhaust manifolds, water pump, and oil pan from old engine and it costs less than $2300* so I'm just doing that. And I did consider a 4.6/5.0 swap, but you loose 4x4 and there is firewall cutting involved.

Bet that is a screamer with a 302, how many tires per mile does it get?
