RE: Becoming an MSF Instructor
I'm pretty close to starting the process - however I have hit the pause button as I try to come to grips with the committment needed for the training - pretty expensive when you consider vacation time and hotels, etc. This is the info I got from the Minnesota MSF director - I need to committ by the end of this month.

"The 2015 RiderCoach Prep Course will be held at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Detroit Lakes next June. The total training encompasses ten days and all days are basically 8am to 6pm. The training dates June 6 and 7; June 11 – 14; and June 25 – 28. Including a pre-course assignment, your time commitment would be close to 100 hours. During the training, we provide morning refreshments, lunch, and all of the training materials. While the training is unpaid, we do pay full RiderCoach pay for a student teaching course on the final weekend."

I've talked to a few active MFS coaches that I know and while it's no doudt hard work (course set-up, etc) and a time committment - I think it would be a lot of fun. The instrutors I know enjoy doing it.
