I do remember GLMC rallies with the rules as you stated. I think Jack
B was the ridemaster and wanted people to go into towns and look around for a sign, not just zoom up to the town limits and ride on. With the use of Google Earth street views many will have an object located before venturing out...so with the advent of technology we are kind of back to ride in get your photo and move on. With (to me) the important part of that is we are out riding. Having the D.O.T. signs in play puts more towns and Cities into play and was the reason for my question. Another issue is towns with the same name in multiple states. I know of 5 West Liberty's in five different states. Let's Ride!!!! John F Cincinnati, OH |
