The Welch is my recommendation as it is closest and nice. But I am hearing reports they have no rooms available. So, people are just going to have to find a hotel of their choosing. There are several within a 5 mile distance of The Mirage. If people want something nicer, there are the Radisson and holiday inns downtown about 2 to 3 miles away. There are the normal slew of medium hotels on the north end right off the interstate. And if they would like the bare bones, cheap motels, there are a couple others close to the mirage, and there are some rather nice motels in the next town over, Stoddard that are cheaper and very clean and nice. It is a tough weekend to get a block of rooms reserved. I have tried.
