My deer strike actually took place when I was riding home from a doctor's appointment that verified I did indeed have a hernia. I was less than 300 yards from my home, coming around a somewhat blind curve and there was a decent sized doe standing broadside in the middle of my lane. There were a couple of cars coming in the other lane towards me and a guardrail on the right side shoulder. I got on the brakes as hard as possible and the only thought in my mind was "this is about to suck".

It did.

Lee, No problem but I still feel like a jerk anyway. Glad you're okay and that Progressive treated you well enough. Congrats on the Team Strange finish. Looking forward to next year's events!
