RE: TSDAT September Ride Planning
I am IN. You guys had me laughing with all of the pics from last year! Great memories. I am excited to see more of the TSDAT
I have made my reservations with Ann already. I would like a spot in your house in Kennebec, if possible. Do I need a sleeping bag? Looking forward to seeing you all!!!!! Will I see any of you at the Buffalo Run? Carol Carol Hauck Yamaha XT250 Suzuki DR650 Honda GL1800 IBA # 74932 |

C wants to do it again, so count her in. We should arrive to Kennebec by 6ish? Is there room for her in the house in Kennebec too? I will have her bring a sleeping bag.

I think I'll give the Stroppel Hotel a call tomorrow. We have 11 riders, Marlene, Teresa & myself in the truck.
Be sure to bring your swimsuit for the soak in the hot mineral bath...... |

RE: TSDAT September Ride Planning
Reservations are made at the Stroppel Hotel. 14 beds = $35.71 each, including a hot mineral bath!
Vicki, the owner, said she'd mention it to the restaurant/bar across the street that there will be a "big group coming in"! Read about the Hotel by clicking on the link....... http://www.southdakotamagazine.com/a-spa-at-midland |

RE: TSDAT September Ride Planning
Hello everyone,
Just an update to the "IN" list....it's getting smaller I'm updating here because there is a limit on the number of days that the original post can be edited. Plus doing it here brings the thread back to the top & X <(those are crossed fingers!) Hopefully we can pick up a couple more riders. If not, each persons cost of the Hotel in Midland will go up a bit. Still a good deal but, shows how backing out affects everyone........ Cheers WHO’S IN 1. Lapchik 2. Original Randy 3. Farmer 4. Blinky 5. Frump 6. Imsunflower 7. C 8. Snowflake 9. Bob J |

RE: TSDAT September Ride Planning
Do we need to call and reserve at Midland or are they just expecting us?
Also, is anyone bringing tools? Wondering if I need to bring my irons, etc http://www.youtube.com/korysrides |

RE: TSDAT September Ride Planning
They're expecting us at Midland.
Everyone should bring what they normally carry when traveling, that way you have what you need. If you don't want to carry it on your bike I can in the truck. I'll also have tie down straps in case of a breakdown. |

Bob, the way I understand it is Jack has the Midland reservations made,(the whole place?) but you need to make your own at Wall.

I made reservations at the Stroppel Hotel, in Midland, for the group. The rate is $500 for 14 beds. Now that we've lost a couple riders the individual rate will be a bit more. My house in Kennebec doesn't have an address. It's a Gray house across the street from the school. Coordinates N43.90208 W99.85637 |

Teresa will not be able to come along. Will there be room at the house for me,or should I make other arrangements? I won't be bringing my camper on this trip. Looking forward to the ride!

The house is filling up, probably floor space left or camping in the yard.
The Kings Motel is a nice place to stay too. 605-869-2270 |

RE: TSDAT September Ride Planning
Just wondering if any one from my part of the world is trailering or hauling their bike to Kennebec, Considering this my self. I have a trailer available or a pickup to use. If interested in splitting the fuel expense and traveling together let me know and we can work out the details. Frump, Lapchick ?
