TSDAT September Ride Planning
Lets continue the ride across the state on the TSDAT. Last year we rode the 1st 3rd of the route, ending in Kennebec. This year, we'll start in Kennebec & ride West across the Prairie with some spectacular views!
Some of the roads will parallel along the Little White river. It is a days ride to Midland where we can spend the night in the Historic Stroppel Hotel. Including Hot Mineral Baths! [img][/img] From Midland we'll head North West toward the Cheyenne River riding on the original Black & Yellow Trail....the first car road from Chicago to the Black Hills & Yellowstone! [img][/img] The route will cross back over I-90 West of Wall, where we'll enter the Badlands & ride the high rim with views of the landscape that few ever see! We can meet Friday evening, in Kennebec, September 11th. Ride the 12th & 13th head back to Kennebec & home on the 14th. I don't think I'll be back on the bike by then so, I plan on driving. My vehicle can be used to haul gear. WHO’S IN 1. Lapchik 2. Original Randy 3. Farmer 4. Blinky 5. Frump 6. Imsunflower 7. C 8. frostbitevinnie 9. Snowflake 10. Bob J |

RE: TSDAT September Ride Planning
I have a house in Kennebec. We can leave vehicles & camp there. There's also a couple beds & couches + the floor. Bathroom & shower.
If someone wants to stay at the a motel, let me know & I'll get the phone number. Plan on staying at the Stroppel Hotel, in Midland. I contacted the owner & she would rather I make a reservation for everyone....She can give us a better deal. There is a bar/restaurant across the street. Sunday night plan on staying in Wall. Ann's Motel 605-279-2501 Tell them you are with the "Dirt Bike Group" or my name. Cabins have one Queen bed for $50.00 Motel rooms have 2 Queen beds for $55.00 There is a good Steak House within walking distance. (they have Grainbelt Beer!) Monday, we'll go back to Kennebec via the Badlands loop & old highway 16. I would like everyone that's going, to reply & I'll update the first post as to who is "IN" I will be driving my pickup, so will be able to haul your luggage. Anymore questions please ask. Jack |

RE: TSDAT September Ride Planning
You can count Frump in for Friday and Saturday evenings. Would love to stay until Monday, but I think I need to head home Sunday mid afternoon. I'll try to drop my tent and bag off in advance for Friday. Most likely will be on the Wee Strom.
