Photo Tag game?

Nice job Don. I got out on the XR650L for a couple hour ride Saturday afternoon and got a few bridge pictures but you beat me to posting them up here. You know the old saying " you snooze you lose".

I don't care if Don beat me to the punch, I'm going to share a couple bridge pictures I took on a bonus December 2nd ride.

One of the few bridges that hasn't been torn down and replaced with bridges that will handle modern farm equipment. One of my first jobs out of high school was visiting every bridge in Richland County ND and checking bridge weight limit signs and reflectors. This bridge is located just out side of Abercrombie and was a favorite of mine and a place were we expended thousands of rounds of 22 shells at floating debris in my younger days.

Here is a replacement bridge that replaced another one of my favorite bridges that was very similar to Dons photo. The bridge on this location was often flooded, had a very low weight rating, and was not conducive to modern farm equipment.

This bridge is near Fort Abercrombie located just outside the city of Abercrombie. You can see one of the recreated corner block houses and ghost fencing that shows the outside perimeter of the Fort Grounds. Before it's replacement this was also the site of a cool old steel structure one lane bridge where I wasted a lot of my youth and 22 shells shooting floating debris "Schmidt beer cans mostly".

I enjoy the older steel bridges but like so many other things, they are disappearing.

Bridges and tunnels - I like 'em but hate riding over (or through) them. If I had the Buffalo Run in 2018, that was a strong candidate for the theme.

I thought Abercrombie screen handle was related to Abercrombie and Fitch.

So who else had a dead battery over X-mas and couldn't get the tag? It's only single digits below zero here, so I might be able to get it this weekend if I can find a battery.

Same shit here. I was going to go out on Christmas morning but the Tenere, XR650L and CRF230 all said no go. I just about pushed them across the street where my neighbor had an inflatable snowman and santa Clause but I wasn't ambitious enough to call my neighbor to tell him why I'm in his front yard and taking pictures. HAHA.

I'm taking the Tenere to Baja next month and so I better have the battery checked out before it dies half way to Cabo.

I took the CRF230 and Xr650L out for a ride a couple weeks ago but didn't go looking for any Christmas decorations. I did fall on my a** a few times cutting cookies out in the yard. I'm sure the neighbors figure I'm getting a little stir crazy retired and holed up in the house.

Ha, I got this one tonight. Neighbors still have decorations on their porch. I wont even have to push the bike outside. Can anyone beat me to it? [I know this wouldn't fly during warm months, but it should now as it's hard to keep it going during the winter]

The looks I got while on this short ride made me wonder if these people thought I was crazy, deranged or just stupid. so... when getting this next tag be careful. On second thought, you'll probably not have to worry.
Get a picture of a playground, ball field or hockey rink. you know, something outdoors, that is meant for kids to burn off some extra energy. Extra credit if people are in the pic.

I'm guessing roads will be in better condition where these places can be tagged. Bike in the pic, please.

How about you get a pic of a map where you are going the first time to you get to ride on the instruments / dash of your motorcycle.

Take a paper map mark the spot on the map go out to your motorcycle lay the map below your speedometer and take the picture
