I've got a couple of copies of Two Wheels to Adventure.

At one of the early GLMC barn bike build offs, the event concluded with an auction of the bikes and other donated items. Arleen Liska
donated a wood carving, that was collected during their travels. I purchased the carving. Info that I read says there are 600 illustrations in the book. If the carving is in one of those photographs it would help authenticate it as the real thing. I could get some photos of the carving to you Coast rider, or alternatively I would love to see the book myself. ( I do return borrowed books).

Just wondering, did any one that has the book recognize the carving as being pictured in any of the illustrations? coastrider?

Looking through the Two Wheel To Adventure book I don't see any photos of your carving. Do you have any idea if Arlene got it on their North and South America trip or the Europe Africa trip? Have you tried contacting Arlene about the carving? She's on Facebook, sort of, not very active. Or send the photos to her or someone at the rest home.

These are links to the scanned slide that Arlene had from the trips. Not complete because Danny took a number of the slides with him. First one is the Euro-Africa trip second on is the N+S America trip.
