That slushy road looks hazardous to me, who has only once ridden on an icy road and found it challenging (in Tasmania).

It's only like that one the shoulder where I parked. The roads were dry. I did take a shortcut across the lake, and that was a little more sketchy. It was plowed though, so at least it was flat and -mostly- consistent.

It's a 2022 Honda CB500X. I've already modified it a smidge.

I rode about 20 ft today. Took some pictures for a very expensive but very exciting project. We got 3 in of snow plus 3/8 of an inch of ice yesterday. Supposed to be in the '50s next week. Probably go from freezing to flooding.

Looks like you got yourself some cleaning to do. That's a lovely Winter's day out- clear crisp skies and melting snow.

I only clean bikes when the dirt makes it more difficult to ride, affects cooling, or when I need to do internal engine work. The exact opposite of my Dad, who just surpassed 117,000 miles on his 1700 Voyager that looks showroom clean.

Can't wait to get rid of these tires, they are horrible. And the replacements are already in the garage waiting.

It's an Insta360 X3 on a stick, RAM ball mount on the handlebars. I will have one for the Avery IA pyramids in the next couple days on my channel also.

I was really scratching my head trying to find "the stick" in the video, then I had a look at the Insta360 website, and under Accessories there it is, an "invisible" stick. Well, not really invisible, but it and the camera work together to give that effect. The wonders of modern technology.

The stick is always in the "splice" plane of the camera between the front and back lens. When you combine the images, neither one can see it.
