What's your talent?
Motorcycles are obviously a hobby of us all, but what else does everyone do?
I am a self-taught metal worker. I build scrap/reclaimed metal sculptures, air cannons, motorcycle accessories, trailers, furniture, etc. the list goes on. Some of my projects: Kawasaki Versys driver/passenger sliding backrest and Rotopax bracket ![]() (Shooter's) FLHTCU cooler rack with space for grill on top ![]() ![]() Wrench clock ![]() Dr. Seuss style oversized flowers ![]() ![]() Pneumatic cannon . . . video of this bad boy will be coming soon to YouTube. Shoots tennis and golf balls at lethal velocity. Can't shoot potatoes . . .it vaporizes them at the end of the barrell. This mounts on a pedestal, and has two different 4' long, quick change, schedule 80 PVC barrels. ![]() ![]() Finger on the trigger ![]() This is a jewelry box that I am working on for my new girlfriend's birthday. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/korysrides |

RE: What's your talent?
Corey, since a GPS doesn't make a lot of sense - what are you planning to mount with that ram ball on the jewelry box? Not a farkle bar I hope. Post a photo when you have it finished, it will be interesting to see how it comes out. Interesting stuff.

RE: What's your talent?
I sometimes make working model steam engines.
It's a fairly new hobby. I wouldn't say I'm especially good at it, but so far so good. I'm enjoying working with machine tools anyway. Plus that should mean I can make stuff for my bikes. Not sure what though. Maybe a big deer guard for the front or something. It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. |
