Casting Call - Dual Sport Riders
I received the following email through the website which maybe some of you might find interesting. I email them a suggestion and they emailed me back so I'm sure it's not spam.

Chicago-based production company One Tree Forest Films is back for our 3rd year now casting for 2 Dual-Sport Motorcycle-riding Adventure Seekers, 30’s to 50’s, to spend a week traveling South Dakota on their on-road, off-road motorcycles this summer!

Are you a former serviceman, looking to re-connect with one of your old service buddies? Do you have a long-lost brother/relative that you haven’t spoken to in ages, that you want to re-connect with? Are you an empty-nester, looking to spend some quality time with your grown child? If any of these sound like you, or somebody you know, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for 2 people with great personalities who are up for an adventure. You’ll travel 700+ miles on-road and off across trails, logging roads and highways. You’ll need to be an expert dual-sport rider, as some of the terrain may be advanced.

Be part of the trip of a lifetime as we film your journey set to the backdrop of the breathtaking South Dakota landscape. All expenses covered and a stipend provided.

Must own your own dual-sport motorcycle, and be able to drive it up to South Dakota for a week this summer (Date TBD between June-August).

Hi Brion,

I found your email listed on the GLMC.org website. I’m a producer in Chicago - and we’re casting for 2 dual-sport riders to appear in a South Dakota Tourism documentary this summer. We will provide a small stipend, and all travel and accommodation expenses for the people to travel up to SD with us. They will be on camera for about a week and the ad will be up on South Dakota’s website. We’ve done this the past 2 years - TravelSouthDakota.com.

I’m wondering if you could post our casting notice to your website - or send it out to your list serve? We’re outreaching to the various dual-sport groups around the midwest.

Please let me know if you have any questions - the casting notice is attached here. Interested parties should submit a recent picture of themselves and a short blurb on why they would be perfect for our story to info@onetreeforestfilms.com

Thank you!

To bad they are above working for a "small stipend" I wonder what this outfit charges the state of South Dakota.

It's not a competition, It's a demonstration. "Rowan"

South Dakota's record for recent ads isn't too good.

First they had the "Don't jerk & drive" campaign

Then they come up with "Why Die on Mars, when you can live in South Dakota"

That's it. Paper and I are applying for the leads in the movie. What could possibly go wrong?
