I had 90+ for Alaska. My total was 30,102 - but I was using the populated places list from a couple years ago. I'll post a dropbox link to my sheets. Does anyone need a specific set of states? Let me know.

I've added the entire US, and have separate files for NC, SC, and GA as well. The master spreadsheet is in there, so you can sort and create your own custom GPX files if you'd like - just use the instructions in the post. If you're stuck, let me know and I can create a custom state file for you.
