Perks of a new job, I suppose. I could just look at the service manuals, but they pay for food and entertainment, so Chicago for a week and no real work won't be so bad.

Smile RE: Bonzai in Hudson
Great road! It is one of the very best in the Metro area - I just found out Washington County is planning to resurface it soon...there are a few others that take off from CR 7 that are worth a ride...CR 8 near Withrow turns north off CR 7 and also takes you to TH 61 and Lynch Rd which is just north of the RR tracks at CR 7 and Manning (go west on Lynch Rd) - will take one north to CR 4 - which if you then turn east will take you back to Marine CR 4 has a very cool last couple miles heading down into Marine...This area is backyard playground...and well worth exploring north of CR 7 and east of TH 61 all the way up to Rush City

If you enter the July 20 Team Lyle Minnestota I can guarantee you reason to ride CR 7!

One of my favorite roads in Minnesota leads to (or out of depending on where you start) Marine on St Croix.

Washington C.R. 7 heading west from Marine on St Croix is pretty fantastic. Fast sweepers, tight corners, horse farms and pretty country. It's got it all.

When I was still living down in the cities I rode the county roads in that area of Washington county at least a couple times a week. I lived in Lexington/Circle Pines area so it was a quick 10 minutes east for me.

I had My bike out for the first time since the Pop-Cycle this afternoon. Rode one of my other favorite loops. The great river road on the east and west sides of the Mississippi near Little Falls

Nels has the rider list up. Seems to be some typical names missing.

If you haven't got signed up yet I will bet Nels will still let you in.

Look forward to seeing you all soon.

As much as I want to attend it's not looking good for me this year. I am right in the middle of buying a house and I need every couple hundered dollars I can spare until I close on the new place.

Or, more likely, hidden away in dark rooms with only the glow of laptops lighting up faces as GPX files get made, changed, rerouted, and changed again.

I don't think you will have the route sheets until Sunday morning as it should be. Smile

FYI - Nels sent out a scaled down version of the Boni locations yesterday via email. If anyone didn't get a the list yesterday or the correction this morning, you should contact Nels.
