2014 Grand Tour Questions

Thought I'd start a thread for anyone that had questions about the grand tour. A few were asked in the theme post but thought this might be easier.

I seem to have an issue finding the Application Sheet, so that I may print it out and send it in.
Someone want to help a blind guy out and give me the link? I found the "Rules" page... but not the sheet...
or is there a different way to register this year?

A quick question - does the Grand Tour make any money for the club? I only ask, because I know in past years it got some attention from the AMA, and wondered if more participation means increased funds. Is there any desire to increase participation to those outside of this group here?

There are a lot of clubs and forums that I keep up with, and I'm never sure which groups to try to bring into the Grand Tour. We have our local ADV Rider meeting tonight, and I was thinking of printing a few entry forms and information sheets to show to some of the guys I ride with there. It would be nice to have a few more locals that would okay with stopping every time we find a double letter sign somewhere! But I'm hesitant to blatantly post it online in forums, if all it will do is make more work for those running it, and not benefit the GLMC in any way.

There is always a desire for more participation. The more we bring in the more we will give out. I have a COG get together this weekend and planned on bringing sign up sheets for all the road events.

I'm pretty sure the more people signed up, the more the club makes. Its not a lot (making and sending out t-shirts and flags isn't free), but more people spreads out some of the costs. The Grand Tour has also been a money maker for the club over the years.

Just my luck......it will be snowing that day..or raining and that fink Paper will put on his rain gear and ride that silly scooter of his to a tour stop just to annoy me......more.

Last year I didn't get my first GT location for 2-3 weeks after the tour started because of salt on the roads.. I have a hunch this year will be very similar. You're already easy to annoy, so why go ride in salt to do so??

OK, Bucko, the gauntlet is thrown......One Slice of Pie to the one of us that logs the first tour stop! Salt on the roads voids the stop. And the one who ends up with the most tour stops gets a free breakfast!!!!

Now, that is the strongest challenge I have thrown since I have known you!
