RE: 2016 Grand Tour Questions
I have had very good luck at uprinting.com

I had the PIE! hunter stickers made there. In fact, I need more of those.

It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem.

RE: 2016 Grand Tour Questions
Looked at the sight seems EZ Need to find a few more bikes as it looks like the minimum order is 25. Sure beats beats having to carry the flag around for the season.

Never thought of using stickers, that is a cool idea. If people didn't want them on their bikes, they could just slap them on a piece of Plexiglas or laminat. Maybe an idea for next year.

Sleddog used this company for the TSDAT stickers: http://www.makestickers.com/. They were fast (much faster then promised) and quality was very good. Not sure how you are going to get different numbers on each of them?

Do local print shops have a way to laminate with a adhesive on the rear or print an image onto an adhesive? You can also make them yourself. I would pitch in something to have you do mine at 5.5" wide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaUr2V2dXlI

I printed them off in a couple of different sizes. I bought some self laminating sheets at Walmart. Cheaper than what Office Max wants to laminate them. Then I bought some small removable adhesive dots (same section at Walmart).

Jack's Site is Cool. Custom die cut stickers. Will have to wait until I get back so I can measure for the right size. No minimum a little pricey but I will skip dinner out.

RE: 2016 Grand Tour General Discussion
So I started plugging GT locations into basecamp. Then I downloaded and printed off my placard, and found myself thinking that it would be cool if I had an Americana symbol that I could use for the GT waypoints in basecamp! If only I was smarter!

If you find one please share. Last year I used the basecamp pirate symbol. It fit perfectly with the theme.

So you're the one guy in the world that knows how to use Basecamp?!? I have tried and just can't make it work right. When are you teaching a class? I miss S&T!

I wish I could make Basecamp jump! Best resource I've found so far is a class prepared by a mamber of the New England Riders. Check this link out and scroll down to the Full Agenda pdf link. work through that and you will feel more comfortable with the program.

Now if someone could do the same for the Garmin Montana - that is the most undocumented device I've ever encountered. Makes me loathe to give up my 2720!

Heads up! The US cavalry museum is on an active military base. The hours are limits and you have to have fully compliant gear, including a military approved vest to access it. I found out the hard way tonight. :-(

Sorry about that the Fort part of Fort Riley should have given it away. An alternative has been posted in the questions thread.
