Unfortunately, growing up in LeMars ruins a person's appetite for ice cream. Knew where it was, got the photo, but no ice cream for me today. Also, there is a mural and a courthouse less than a mile from here for those of you who want to wander around in my hometown. Or come to the Martinsburg RTE and have me lead a small ride around the area.

Type [img] then insert the link to your photo, then type [/img] after it. You should be able to right click on your picture from Facebook, photo bucket, picasa, etc then click copy image address.

I had a trip planned down to AZ to visit my folks for a few days. I actually delayed it for a week to wait for the GT to start. Made the ride down and back much more interesting. A few observations:

HOLY CRAP! Northern New Mexico is beautiful. Thanks rally master for those locations!

Kansas and Nebraska... not so much.

Some of the courthouses and veterans memorials were not designed and placed in such a manner that getting a picture with your motorcycle in it also is very easy.

Lots of veterans memorials near courthouses. :-)

I really like the mix of specific bonuses and general ones. Keeps you looking around between stops.

If you look at the cliff behind here you can see the little trail we rode down. The corners were so short Alvin had to drag the front of the KTM around the corner.
